CLINIC NEWS

Thank you for your continued support of 63 Queensway podiatry, well-being and fitness.

As we are all aware of the rising costs in business and home life it has become necessary to make changes to the business opening hours.

From 1st September 2022, the premises will be open

Monday to Wednesday 8:40am-5:30pm

Thursday 9am-5:30pm

We offer pre-booked appointments only, there is no walk-in service. This is for podiatry and osteopathy.

Unfortunately, we are experiencing, like many health care providers, an increasing level of non-attendance for appointments. We appreciate it may not always be possible to give us 24 hours’ notice, but usually we are not informed at all and therefore do not have the opportunity to offer the appointment to clients and prospective clients on our long waiting list.

So, we need to enforce a policy of 100% payment for the appointment missed. If the appointment is for a new client assessment, then this will be charged at 100% fee plus payment in advance for the next booking

If less than 24-hour’s notice is given of non-attendance, and we are able to offer the slot to another client then the non-attendance fee will be reduced to £10 (admin cost).

I am happy to announce that from September 2022 we will be offering a toenail cutting service with our clinic assistant Amy Birch, who has been undertaking the Royal College of Podiatry Assistant Practitioner training scheme.

Amy will be supervised by a podiatrist during her appointments and the cost will be £25. It is required that bookings are made 8 weekly or less.

If you feel you would like to be seen in the toenail cutting clinic, then please contact the clinic and Angela Vanderpump (podiatrist) will review your treatment notes to ensure your feet and general health qualify. You can be assured that your care is a priority for us.

Best wishes

Angela Vanderpump and team
